Great over vanilla ice cream. Ingredients:
3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar |
1/2 cup dutch-processed cocoa powder |
4 teaspoons cornstarch |
3/4 cup skim milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together brown sugar, cocoa and cornstarch. 2. Gradually mix in milk until well blended. 3. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 1 minute. 4. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla. 5. Serve right away. |
