this is good Ingredients:
6 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped |
1 tbsp cinnamon |
1/4 tsp almond extract |
1 1/2 cups whipping cream, divided |
3 tbsp rum |
3/4 tsp vanilla |
additional whipped cream for garnish |
Directions:
1. combine chocolate and 3 tbsp cream in top of double boiler. Heat until smooth, stirring occasionally. 2. Gradually stir in rum, if desired; remove top pan from heat. Let stand at room temp to cool for 15 minutes. 3. Combine cream and vanilla in small chilled bowl. Beat at low speed, then gradually increase speed until stiff, but not dry, peaks form. 4. Gently fold whipped cream into cooled chocolate mixture until uniform in color. Spoon into 4 individual desert dishes. 5. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours until firm. 6. Garnish with additional whipped cream. |
