CHOCOLATE RIBBON PIE I obtained this recipe from an estate sale when I purchased the family collection from the Ridings Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
4 ounces cream cheese softened |
2 tablespoons granulated sugar |
1 tablespoon milk |
1 small container frozen whipped topping thawed and divided |
1 chocolate flavor crumb crust |
2 cups cold milk |
2 small packages instant chocolate pudding and pie filling |
Directions:
1. Beat cream cheese, sugar and 1 tablespoon milk in large bowl until smooth. 2. Gently stir in 1/2 of the whipped topping and spread on bottom of crust. 3. Pour 2 cups milk into large bowl then add pudding mixes. 4. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes then pour over cream cheese layer. 5. Refrigerate 4 hours then just before serving spreading remaining topping over top. |
