CHOCOLATE RIBBON PIE I obtained this recipe from an estate sale when I purchased the family collection from the Ridings Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1982.
Ingredients:
4 ounces cream cheese softened
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1 small container frozen whipped topping thawed and divided
1 chocolate flavor crumb crust
2 cups cold milk
2 small packages instant chocolate pudding and pie filling
Directions:
1. Beat cream cheese, sugar and 1 tablespoon milk in large bowl until smooth.
2. Gently stir in 1/2 of the whipped topping and spread on bottom of crust.
3. Pour 2 cups milk into large bowl then add pudding mixes.
4. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes then pour over cream cheese layer.
5. Refrigerate 4 hours then just before serving spreading remaining topping over top.
