This pudding is so much better than the instant kind. Ingredients:
1 quart milk |
4 tablespoons flour |
1 cup sugar |
4 tablespoons cocoa powder |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. In the top of a double boiler, stir together flour, sugar and cocoa. 2. Gradually whisk in milk. 3. Cook until hot. 4. Beat egg and tempure it by adding a cup of the hot milk mixture into it. 5. Add egg mixture into the pudding. 6. Cook until thick. 7. Add in vanilla and butter. 8. This is good served either warm or cold. |
