Here is a great short-cut method of making the famous chocolate Pots De Creme! Ingredients:
1 6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips |
2 tbsp. sugar |
pinch of salt |
1egg |
1 tsp. vanilla |
1 1/2 to 2 tsps. dark rum or 1 tsp. powdered instant coffee |
3/4 cup milk |
whipped cream, for topping |
Directions:
1. Combine chocolate, sugar, salt, egg, vanilla and rum or coffee into blender. Heat milk just to boiling. Pour over other ingredients. Cover and blend 1 minute. Pour immediately into chocolate pots or ramekins. Chill at least 1 hour. Serve with whipped cream. Serves. 4. |
