You judge prep and cook time. Ingredients:
1 1/4 c. sugar |
1/2 c. flour |
3 tbsps. cocoa |
2 c. water |
3 eggs separated |
1/2 stick butter |
dash salt |
1 tsp. vanilla |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, flour, and cocoa together, add enough water to make a paste. 2. Beat in egg yolks well. 3. Heat remaining water with butter and salt until butter is melted, add water mixture to first mixture and cook until thick. 4. Remove from heat, add vanilla. 5. Cool and pour into 9 inch cooked pie crust. 6. Cover with meringue and brown. |
