A simple recipe but so tasty!! Use you favorite single pie crust recipe and be sure to perforate it well with a fork before baking until golden brown(375 F). Cool crust then pour in chocolate filling Serve with real whipped cream.Yum! Ingredients:
4 cups milk |
1/4 cup cornstarch |
1/4 cup cocoa |
1 cup white sugar |
1 pinch salt |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cooked pie shell |
whipped cream, on the side for topping |
Directions:
1. Scald milk. 2. Beat egg and add sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt Add cooled milk and cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thick Add vanilla and pour into a baked pie shell. |
