Ingredients:
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 cup pecan halves
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of salt
1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell
Directions:
1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium mixing bowl; mix well. Stir in pecans, vanilla, and salt. Pour mixture into pastry shell. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°, and continue baking 30 minutes.
