Ingredients:
3 eggs, lightly beaten |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup light corn syrup |
2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted |
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted |
1 cup pecan halves |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
pinch of salt |
1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell |
Directions:
1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium mixing bowl; mix well. Stir in pecans, vanilla, and salt. Pour mixture into pastry shell. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°, and continue baking 30 minutes. |
