Traditional soutern pecan pie but with a chocolate twist. Super easy to make Ingredients:
3 eggs, lightly beaten |
1 cup light corn syrup |
1/2 cup light brown sugar |
1 cup pecan pieces |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1 6 ounce pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1 10 inch pie crust |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees 2. mix together eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, and vanilla until combined. 3. stir in pecans and chocolate chips. 4. pour into pie shell. 5. bake for 10 minutes 6. reduce heat to 350 degrees 7. and bake for 30 to 35 minutes more or until center is set 8. serve chilled with fresh whipped cream. |
