Very rich Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package semisweet baking chocolate |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 cup corn syrup |
3 eggs, slightly beaten |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
1 1/2 cups pecans, halved |
9 inches pie crusts |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350. 2. Melt chocolate and butter in a large microwave bowl on high for 1-2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted. 3. Brush the bottom of the pie crust with a small amount of the beaten egg. Stir sugar, corn syrup, eggs and vanilla into the chocolate mixture until well blended. 4. Stir in nuts. 5. Pour into pie crust. 6. Bake 55 minutes. 7. Cool on a wire rack. |
