An easy little cookie bites. baked with pecans and chocolate. Ingredients:
1- egg white |
1/3- cup sugar |
1/2- cup miniature semi- sweet chocolate chips |
1/2 - cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Place egg white ina small bowl.let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes 2. beat on mediium speed until spft peaks form 3. gradually beat in sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, on high until stiff peaks form 4. fold in chocolate chips and pecans 5. drop by rounded teaspoonsfuls 2 inches apart onto parchment paper - lined baking sheets 6. bake at 250 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes or until firm to the touch 7. turn oven off and let cookies dry in the oven for 1 1/2 hours 8. carefully remove cookies from the parchment paper.... 9. store in airtight container 10. yields 1 1/2 dozen cookies |
