Chocolate Pecan Chewies Cookie Mix In A Jar |

From my jar cookie collection for a great cookie Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 cup sugar |
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1/2 cup cocoa powder |
1 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Mix flour and baking soda together.
2. Layer ingredients in order given in a 1 quart widemouth
3. canning jar.
4. Press each layer firmly in place before adding the next ingredient.

6. Empty jar into large mixing bowl, use your hands to
7. thoroughly mix.
8. Add 1 stick soft butter, 1 egg slightly beaten and 1 tsp vanilla
9. Mix until completely blended-you will need to finish mixing with your hands
10. Shape into balls the size of walnuts Place 2 apart on sprayed cookies sheets.
11. Bake 375 for 11-13 minutes or until edges are lightly browned -
12. Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet and remove cookies to racks to cool completely.
