This is another recipe from my walking buddy Juana. She had all 32 members and spouses of our group over for dinner last weekend and did the entire meal, she would not let us help. This is one of the 6 desserts she sered and it was phenominal and loved by all. Read more . Enjoy Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature |
1 cup creamy peanut butter |
1 cup powdered sugar |
6 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1 cup butter at room temperature |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1-1/2 cup chocolate chips melted |
1 baked 9 piecrust |
1 cup chopped peanuts |
Directions:
1. Beat cream cheese and peanut butter until creamy then add powdered sugar and mix well. 2. Fold in whipped topping and set aside in cool place. 3. Beat granulated sugar and butter in bowl until creamy then add vanilla and chocolate chips. 4. Beat until smooth then spread thin layer of chocolate topping in bottom of prepared crust. 5. Sprinkle with a few chopped peanuts then fill rest of crust with filling. 6. Spread remaining chocolate mixture over filling and sprinkle with remaining peanuts. 7. Chill 3 hours then when ready to serve cut with hot knife. |
