Chocolate and peaches are great together. Ingredients:
1 box duncan hines dark chocolate fudge cake (any other chocolate cake mix will do but i prefer this one) |
1 1/3 cup water |
1/2 cup veg. oil |
3 lg. eggs |
1 tbls. expresso powder |
1 lg. can sliced peaches |
1 container cool whip |
chocolate shavings |
Directions:
1. Prepare cake according to directions for a 2 layer 8 In. cake using first 5 ingredients 2. Cool on rack 3. Cut 1/2 can of peaches into bite size pieces. 4. On plate, frost first layer of cake with cool whip 5. Scatter peach pieces over top of 1st layer. 6. Put 2nd layer on and frost whole cake with remaining cool whip 7. Arrange remaining peaches on top of cake. ( I do so in a fan fashion) 8. Finish with chocolate shavings over the top |
