Prepare to experience the eighth deadly sin . Let it lead you to the ecstasy of molten truffle which oozes out from the middle ... Ingredients:
8 oz semi sweet baking chocolate |
3/4 c heavy cream |
5 oz butter |
2/3 c plain flour , 1/2 c cocoa pwd - sifted |
8 oz chopped semisweet baking chocolate |
3 l eggs |
2 l yolks |
1/2 c sugar |
1 tsp vanilla essence |
Directions:
1. Bring the cream of boil and pour it over the chocolate . 2. Whisk until smooth . 3. Line a wax paper on a plate and pour the ganache over . 4. Put in the freezer until its firm . 5. Portion it into 12 using a tbsp and roll it into small balls like truffles . 6. Put it back in freezer . 7. ............................ 8. Preheat oven at 180 deg C . 9. Grease a 12 muffin tray with some melted butter. 10. Set aside . 11. Melt the butter and chocolate together and stir until smooth . 12. Beat the eggs and sugar for 2 mins on high . 13. Add the melted chocolate . 14. Beat until mixed . 15. Blend in the dry ing . until mixed well . 16. Add the vanilla and mix . 17. Scoop them equally into the muffin tray and bake for 5 mins . 18. Remove the truffle from the freezer and press it down into the muffins and return them to the oven . 19. And bake another 15 to 20 mins . 20. Cool and remove carefully . |
