My favorite! I make these for friends. :) Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar |
1/2 cup white sugar |
2 eggs |
2 tablespoons milk |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 3/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 1/2 cups rolled oats |
2 cups chocolate chips |
1 cup chopped nuts (optional) |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375. 2. Beat butter and sugars together til creamy. 3. Add eggs, milk and vanill and beat well. 4. Add flour, baking soda and salt. 5. Mix well. 6. Stir in oats and chocolate chips (and nuts if using). 7. Mix well. 8. Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. 9. Bake 9-10 minutes for chewy or 12-13 for crispy. 10. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet and then remove cookies to a cooling rack. |
