This is from Jean Pares' Company's Coming Cookbook, this is a Good Christmas Square. Ingredients:
1 cup chocolate chips |
1/2 cup light cream |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
2 cups graham cracker crumbs |
1/2 cup icing sugar |
1/2 cup nuts, chopped |
1/4 cup margarine |
2 cups icing sugar |
1 tablespoon milk |
1 teaspoon mint extract |
Directions:
1. In a small pan, combine chips and cream. Melt over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Combine graham crumbs, sugar and nuts in a bowl. Add chip mixture and mix well. Press in a greased 9 pan. Chill. Spread with mint frosting. Chill until set. Drizzle chocholate glaze on top. Chill until firm and then cut. 2. Glaze: Melt 1/4 Celsius chocholate chips and 1 tablespoons water. 3. stir until smooth. |
