These little babies are sooooooooo good .i didnt include the time in refrigerator cooling in the prep time .you can make the dough ahead as to be less time ....... Ingredients:
2/3 - cup packed brown sugar |
6- tablespoons butter |
1- tablespoon water |
6- ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1- egg |
1 1/4 - cups flour |
1/2- teaspoon baking soda |
12- ounces pastel crÈme mints |
Directions:
1. COMBINE BROWN SUGAR , BUTTER AND WATER IN SAUCEPAN. 2. COOK OVER LOW HEAT UNTIL BUTTER MELTS, STIRRING TO MIX WELL….. 3. STIR IN CHOCOLATE CHIPS UNTIL MELTED. 4. POUR INTO A LARGE MIXER BOWL; 5. LET STAND FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES OR UNTIL COOL 6. BEAT IN EGG 7. STIR IN MIXTURE OF FLOUR AND SODA. 8. CHILL COVERED FOR 1-2 HOURS OR UNTIL EASY TO HANDLE 9. SHAPE INTO 1 INCH BALLS 10. PLACE ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET 11. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES F. FOR 7 MINUTES 12. PLACE 1 MINT ON EACH COOKIE 13. BAKE FOR 2 MINUTES LONGER 14. SWIRL MELTED MINTS TO FROST THE COOKIES 15. REMOVE TO A WIRE RACK TO COOL…….. 16. YIELDS 4 DOZEN |
