Chocolate Marshmallow Mousse |

A delightful texture& flavor, great after a heavy spicey meal. I came up with this myself, athough there are probably similar recipes. Ingredients:
1 pkg of white marshamallows, 10 oz |
6 oz of semi sweet chocolate ( squares or quality chips ) |
1 cup heavy cream |
6 lady fingers ( storebought ) |
butterscoth schnapps as needed |
butterscoth chips |
6 marachino cherries |
whipped cream |
Directions:
1. Melt marshamallows on lowest heat stirring constantly. 2. If mixture sticks, pour in a little heavy cream to make melting easier. 3. Melt chocolate and stir smooth. 4. Whisk chocolate into marshamallow mixture till loose and smooth. 5. let cool a bit 6. Whip the cream and blend into mixture. 7. Into 6 ( or more ) dessert glasses, add some mouse, break up one lady finger and place over mousee, drizzle some schnapps and cover with more mousee. 8. Sprinkle on chips over top. 9. Repeat with each dessert 10. Chill well 11. Before serving, spritz top of each dessert with whipped cream and top with a cherry |
