Chocolate Malt Pudding Ingredients:
1/4 cup ovaltine |
5 tbsp sugar |
1/4 cup cornstarch |
2 1/2 cups half-and-half |
4 oz semisweet chocolate, finely chopped |
1 tsp vanilla extract |
8 pieces malted milk balls |
Directions:
1. Whisk together Ovaltinem sugar and cornstarch in a medium sauce pan. Whisk in 1/2 cup half and half until mixture is smooth. Add remaining half and half and cook over medium heat whisking constantly until mixture begins to thicken and boil, 2 to 3 minutes. 2. Remove pan from heat and whisk in chocolate until smooth. Spoon pudding into 4 dessert dishes. Serve warm with crushed candies on top. |
