Chocolate Macadamia Nut Pie |

MMMM, chocolate and my favorite type of nuts. What could be better?:) Ingredients:
3 ounces semisweet chocolate |
1/4 cup margarine |
1/2 cup heavy cream |
1/2 cup karo light corn syrup |
3 eggs, slightly beaten |
1/3 cup sugar |
1/3 cup packed brown sugar |
1 (3 1/2 ounce) jar macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped & toasted |
1 baked 9 inch pie shell |
Directions:
1. Preheat to 350F In 1 qt saucepan, combine chocolate and margarine; stir over low heat until smooth and melted. 2. Remove from heat. 3. Stir in cream& corn syrup until well blended. 4. In medium bowl, beat eggs and sugars (white and brown) until well mixed. 5. Stir in chocolate mixture and add nuts. 6. Pour into pie crust and bake 40 minutes or until knife inserted halfway comes out clean. 7. cool and then enjoy. |
