From an M&M's Holiday Baking cookbook. Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter, softened |
2/3 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 3/4 cups flour |
3/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
3/4 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped |
1/2 cup shredded coconut |
1 3/4 cups miniature m&m baking bits |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. In large bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla. In medium bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; blend into cream mixture. Blend in nuts and coconut. Stir in M&M's. 3. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls about 2 apart onto ungreased cookie sheets; flatten slightly with back of spoon. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set. Do Not Overcook! Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet and then transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Store in tightly covered container. |
