Chocolate Kahlua Mousse Trifle |

This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Sanchez Estate in Marshall, Texas in 1981. Ingredients:
1 box chocolate cake mix |
1 cup kahlua |
4 small boxes chocolate mousse instant pudding |
4 toffee candy bars |
16 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed |
Directions:
1. Prepare cake according to package then let cake cool and pierce with a fork several times. 2. Drizzle kahlua into holes then chill overnight in pan. 3. Break up cake and place half in a glass trifle bowl. 4. Prepare pudding according to package directions. 5. Add a layer of pudding, 2 crushed candy bars and a layer of whipped topping. 6. Add remaining cake and repeat the layer process. 7. Top with frozen whipped topping and remaining crushed candy bars. |
