This one is fantastic for the Choc-oholics Ingredients:
3 tablespoons cocoa |
1/2 cup all-purpose flour |
1/4 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
3 eggs |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 tablespoons oil |
18 ounces semisweet chocolate |
1 cup heavy cream |
5 cups strawberry ice cream, softened |

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350*. 2. Grease 15 1/2 X 10 1/2 X 1 pan. 3. Line bottom with wax paper. 4. in small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. 5. Set aside. 6. In large bowl, beat eggs, sugar, vanilla until thick& pale yellow. 7. Beat in flour& oil mix. 8. Spread in prepared pan. 9. Bake 10-12 min til brown. 10. Sprinkle towel with conf. 11. sugar. 12. Immediately invert cake onto towel. 13. Gently peel off wax paper. 14. Roll warm cake with towel inside. 15. Place seam side down on wire rack. 16. Cool. 17. Unroll cake. 18. Spread filling within 1/2 of edges. 19. Roll up. 20. Wrap tight in foil. 21. Freeze 2 hours. |
