Basic chocolate icing recipe for cakes or brownie squares. Makes about 1 cup, enough for one 8 inch cake. Ingredients:
1 cup icing sugar |
1/4 cup butter, softened |
1 ounce unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled |
4 teaspoons hot water |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. In bowl, beat sugar with butter; beat in chocolate, hot water and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. |
