3 1/2 cups water |
1 cup ground coffee |
2 tablespoons sugar |
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
2 cups half-and-half |
1/2 cup chocolate syrup |
Directions:
1. Bring water and coffee to a boil in a saucepan. 2. Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes. 3. Pour mixture through a fine wire-mesh strainer into a bowl, discarding coffee grounds. 4. Stir sugar and cinnamon into coffee until sugar dissolves. 5. Let cool. 6. Stir in half and half and chocolate syrup. 7. Chill 2 hours. 8. Serve over ice. 9. Note: To keep coffee from diluting, freeze cubes of half and half and coffee to use in place of ice. |
