Chocolate Icecream Cake

Icecream cake is one of my all time favourites .
Ingredients:
you can make ur own fave chocolate base too ......

1 1/2 c flour , 1/4 c cocoa pwd , 1 tsp baking pwd , 1/2 tsp baking pwd , 1/2 tsp salt - sifted
1/3 c oil
1 c mocha
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c chocolate chips or pieces
1 tub chocolate icecream ( plus more icecream for topping - optional )
1/2 to 1 c nuts ( peanut )
glaze ( optional )
simmer 1/2 c cream and 2 tbsp light corn syrup .
pour over 8 oz semi sweet or bitter sweet chocolate .
after 5 mins , whisk until smooth .
use when its lukewarm , just before it sets .
Directions:
1. For the cake :
2. Pre heat oven at 180 deg C .
3. Whisk everything until smooth .
4. Add chocolate chips .
5. Bake 20 to 25 mins until done .
6. Cool it and slice it into 2 and chill it .

8. Wash the cake pan and dry it .
9. Line it with plastic wrap , just enough to drape few inches on the sides .
10. Soften the icecream abit , just enough to mix with a wooden spoon and add the nuts .
11. Mix well .
12. Dump half of the icecream in the pan and pack it down with no gap .
13. Put a cake layer on top .
14. Cover and chill to set for 2 hours .
15. Continue with the other cake layer and the other half icecream .
16. Once set , remove .
17. Unmould it on a serving plate and Glaze it on top
18. Use the extra icecream to spread on top and
19. ......... Use a knife dipped in hot water and then wipped with a clean towel to run it on the top and sides for an even finishing .
20. Freeze 1 to 2 hours .
21. Serve COLD : )
