This is awesome. It comes from my mother who made this the entire time we were growing up. Yumola. Enjoy Ingredients:
20 chocolate sandwich cookies crushed |
1/3 cup melted butter |
filling |
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 small can evaporated milk |
1 tablespoon chocolate ice cream |
1 cup whipping cream |
sugar |
vanilla |
nuts or grated chocolate |
Directions:
1. Combine cookies and melted butter then press into pie pan and chill. 2. Melt unsweetened chocolate over water then stir in sugar and butter. 3. Add evaporated milk and cook over water until thickened then cool. 4. Spread chocolate ice cream in pie shell then spread chocolate mixture over ice cream and freeze. 5. Mix whipping cream, adding sugar and vanilla to taste then spread over chocolate. 6. Spread with nuts or grated chocolate then freeze. 7. Let stand out of freezer 15 minutes before cutting and serving. |
