A cake family will love.... Ingredients:
* 2/3 cup butter |
* 1 cup honey |
* 2 eggs |
* 2 cups flour, sifted |
* 1/2 cup cocoa powder |
* 1 tsp. salt |
* 1/2 tsp. baking soda |
* 2 tsp. baking power |
* 3/4 cup buttermilk |
* 1 tsp vanilla extract (or almond) |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and beat honey slowly together.
2. Beat eggs in one at a time.
3. In separate bowl mix flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda and baking
4. powder sift three times.
5. Mix buttermilk and vanilla in a separate bowl.
6. Add dry ingredients to butter and honey mixture alternating with
7. buttermilk mixture mix together.
8. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9inch pans.
9. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
