This recipe has been made during the holidays by my family for over 100 years. Homemade biscuits go perfect with it, but I'm always up for new ideas to try. Remember, calories don't count from October throught December. Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar |
2 1/2 tablespoons cocoa |
3 tablespoons flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
3 1/2 cup whole milk |
1/4 stick margarine or butter (optional) |
1 teaspoon vanilla (optional) |
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients 2. Add ingredients and milk to a saucepan on medium heat. 3. Continue cooking and stirring until desired thickness. (10 minutes) 4. Shoot in the vanilla and butter at the end. 5. Do one final stir and throw it on biscuits, waffles, or pancakes. 6. Take care and hope you enjoy. |
