Chocolate Fudge Pecan Pie |

Such an easy pie. Fudge-fudge chocolate-chocolate. Chocolate lovers will be in a state of bliss when they eat just a single bite of this incredible dessert. Ingredients:
1 single flaky uncooked pie crust (may use refrigerated pie crusts, but home-made takes it into a different realm) |
6 tablespoons cocoa |
1 stick butter |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup white karo syrup |
2 eggs, slightly beaten |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 cup pecans (may leave them out) |
Directions:
1. Melt butter 2. Add cocoa, stir, mixing 3. Add the remaining ingredients 4. Stir to mix 5. Pour into unbaked pie crust 6. Bake at 350 degrees until set, (about 45 minutes, more or less) 7. Remove from oven, cool on wire rack 8. To serve, add dollops of whipped cream around the outer edge 9. Shaved chocolate may be placed in the whippeed cream dollops 10. Redi-Whip in the can is perfect for a decorative dollop |
