Chocolate Fudge Cake With Peanutbutter Icing |

A moist cake with peanutbutter icing. one of my families favorite. I get asked for this recipe alot. Ingredients:

2 cups sugar |
1 3/4 cup flour |
3/4 cup cocoa |
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 eggs |
1 cup milk 1/2 cup veg oil |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 cup boiling water |
icing |
1/4 cup peanutbutter (i add a bit more as i love peanutbutter apox.1/2 cup) |
3 cups powdered sugar |
4-5 tablspoons milk(use more if you add more peanutbutter apox 6) |
Directions:
1. Cake:
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
3. Grease n flour 13x9 pan or 2 9 round cake pans.
4. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl.
5. Add eggs milk oil n vanilla.
6. Beat on meduim speed 2 minutes.
7. Stir in boiling water.(batter will be thin)
8. Pour into prepapred pan
9. Bake 30-35 minutes or until cake test done.
10. Cool Completely, then frost.
11. Icing:
12. Blend peanutbutter n powdered sugar in bowl.
13. Add enough milk to make a creamy consisitency.
