this is a sweet chocolatty cake Ingredients:
cream 3 sticks of butter or oleo , 3 cups sugar |
add 6 eggs, one at a time , beating continuously |
sift togather. 3 cups flour , 5 heaping tbl cocoa, 1/2 tea baking |
powder, 1/2 tea salt |
add 1 cup sweet milk, alternately, with dry ingredients |
1 tbl vanilla |
Directions:
1. bake in large cake pan at 300 degrees, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours
2. icing,
3. 2/3 box conf. sugar, 2/3 stick melted butter, 2 large tbl cocoa
4. 3 tbl warm coffee
5. mix well spread over cool cake
