Recipe from Ingredients:
2 cups vanilla yogurt |
2 cups milk |
2 cups sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 cup unflavored gelatin |
1/3 cup cocoa powder |
Directions:
1. Place two cups of yoghurt into a yohurt cheese maker and put in the refrigerator for 3 hours. If you do not have a yoghurt cheese maker, you can line a colander with cheese cloth and place the yoghurt in the colander instead. This removes liquid from the yoghurt. 2. In a sqaucepan combine milk, sugar, salt and gelatin. Mix well and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Allow this to cool. 3. Add the cocoa powder to the saucepan and mix well. Add the strained yoghurt. Discard the liquid that has separated from the yoghurt. 4. Place the yoghurt mixture in your ice cream or frozen yoghurt maker for 20 to 40 minutes depending on the machine. |
