This recipe goes with Franklin Brownies Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar |
2 (1-ounce) squares semi-sweet chocolate |
1/2 cup butter or margarine |
1/2 cup milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, except vanilla, in a large saucepan; bring to a rolling boil, stirring occasionally. Boil rapidly 1 minute; remove from heat, and cool slightly. 2. Add vanilla, and beat constantly with a wire whisk until mixture begins to thicken. Use immediately. |
