2- cups chocolate cake crumbs |
1- tablespoon cocoa |
5- ounces dark chocolate , melted |
2- tablespoons thickened cream |
batter.......................... |
1/3- cup self rising flour |
1/3- cup custard powder |
1/4- teaspoon ground cinnamon |
3/4- cup milk |
oil for deep frying |
Directions:
1. Blend or process cake crumbs with cocoa, melted chocolate and cream until smooth 2. press mixture over base of a greased and lined loaf tin and freeze for 2 hours 3. meanwhile, to make the batter, blend or process flour with custard powder, cinnamon, and milk until smooth 4. cover and chill until ready to use 5. cut chocolate mixture into triangles 6. dip into batter to coat, .......deep fry until golden ...........drain on paper towel......... 7. dust with powdered sugar......... 8. makes 12 |
