Chocolate Fondue a La Chalet Suisse

Ingredients:
3 (3 ounce) toblerone chocolate bars
1/2 cup light cream or 1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons kirsch or 2 tablespoons brandy or 2 tablespoons cointreau liqueur
angel food cake or ladyfinger, cut in chunks
oranges or tangerines, slides or strawberries or bananas or puff pastry
Directions:
1. Break the Toblerone into separate triangular pieces.
2. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan.
3. Stir over *low* heat until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
4. Serve in a chafing dish over low heat.
5. For dunkables, serve each person a plate with one, or a combination, of the following:.
6. Angelfood cake, or ladyfingers, cut in chunks with any of the fruit listed in ingredients.
