Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream |
8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped |
2 tablespoons amaretto |
Directions:
1. in the top of a double boiler (or in a saucepan stacked on a smaller one) over hot water, heat cream until warm. 2. add chocolate, stirring until melted and smooth. 3. remove from heat. 4. stir in liquer and transfer immediately to fondue pot over candle flame. 5. serve with strawberries; kiwi slices; banana or apple slices. 6. for butterscotch fondue, substitute 2tbsp half-and-half heavy cream and 1 tbsp kahlua for amaretto and add 8 oz. 7. butterscotch chips. |
