Ingredients:
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar, packed |
1/2 cup(s) butter, softened |
1 1/2 cup(s) flour, sifted |
2 tablespoon(s) light corn syrup |
2 tablespoon(s) milk |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
4.5 ounce(s) semi-sweet morsels |
1.5 ounce(s) semi-sweet morsels, chopped |
1 tablespoon(s) shortening |
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract |
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract |
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract |
1 tablespoon(s) water |
Directions:
1. Sift flour and salt. Blend butter, sugar, vanilla. Add flour mixture, milk, chopped semi-sweet chocolate chips. Form in 1" balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. With thumb, make depression in center of balls. Bake at 375F for 10-12 minutes. Roll several times while warm in confectioners sugar. Cool. 2. For filling: melt semi-sweet chocolate chips and shortening over hot (not boiling) water. Stir in remaining ingredients until smooth. Fill depressions with chocolate mixture after cookies have cooled a bit. |
