Chocolate-filled Poppy Seed Cookies |

If you love poppyseeds and chcolate, you will enjoy these Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
2 egg yolks |
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
3 tablespoons poppy seeds |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup dark chocolate chunks, melted |
Directions:
1. In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. 2. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla. 3. Combine flour, poppy seeds and salt. 4. Gradually add into the creamed mixture. 5. Roll into 1-inch balls. 6. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. 7. Using end of wooden spoon handle, make indentation in center of each. 8. Bake at 375F degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. 9. Immediately make an indication in center again of each cookie. 10. Remove to wire racks to cool slightly. 11. Fill with melted dark chocolate, and let set. |
