CHOCOLATE DROPS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Cullen Estate in Allen, Texas in 1984. Ingredients:
1 can sweetened condensed milk |
2 pounds powdered sugar |
1/4 cup butter |
coating |
1 package semisweet chocolate chips |
1 package milk chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Combine milk, sugar and butter then refrigerate at least 2 hours. 2. Mix candy into small balls and put toothpick in each ball. 3. Melt coating in top of double boiler and keep warm while dipping candy. 4. Dip balls in chocolate to cover well and place on waxed paper lined platters. 5. Place in refrigerator to harden. |
