1 package ( 6 ounces ) semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1 tbsp.plus 1 tsp, shortening |
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon |
fruits : strawberries,dried apricot halves, pitted dates stuffed with pecan half |
Directions:
1. Line jelly roll pan, 151/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 in. with waxed paper. 2. Heat chocolate chips, shortening and cinnamon over low heat. 3. Stir constantly until smooth. 4. Remove from heat. 5. Dip each fruit half-way into chocolate mixture. 6. Place in pan. 7. Refrigerate uncovered until chocolate is firm, about 30 min. 8. 3 to 4 dozen confections |
