Is this easy or what? You can use any fruit filled sandwich style cookie, but I do like the Fig Newtons best. Great for kids to make on a rainy day...or snow day! :) Ingredients:
1 container (7 oz.) baker's real milk dipping chocolate or other company of your choice |
16 fig newtons or other fruit chewy cookie |
**option** you can use a darker chocolate or even white chocolate to make a design on the cookies in layers |
Directions:
1. MELT chocolate as directed on package; stir until smooth. 2. DIP each cookie into chocolate, completely coating bottom half of each cookie. 3. Place in single layer on wax paper-covered baking sheet. 4. REFRIGERATE 15 min. or until chocolate is firm. 5. SERVE with Milk for the kids or an afternoon Tea or Coffee for Adults! |
