Ingredients:
3/4 cup flour |
1/2 cup cocoa powder |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 egg plus 1 egg yolk |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
3 cups vanilla buttercream |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a muffin tin with paper liners; set aside. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt until thoroughly blended. Make a well in center of dry ingredients and stir in egg yolk, sour cream, 1/4 cup water and vanilla; whisk until smooth. 3. Spoon batter into prepared cups. Bake until a cake tester comes out clean, 20 minutes. Let pan cool completely on a rack. 4. Frost with buttercream and decorate as desired. |
