A simple and delicious rice krispie dessert - easy to do!! Ingredients:
6 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, chopped |
27 jumbo marshmallows (or 1 package regular marshmallows) |
2 tablespoons milk |
1 tablespoon rum flavoring or 1 tablespoon vanilla extract |
3 cups rice, zkrispies |
1/2 cup baker's angel flake coconut |
1/2 cup pecans, chopped |
Directions:
1. Melt chocolate over low heat, stirring until melted. Stir in marshmallows, milk and rum flavoring; continue stirring over low heat until melted. 2. Add cereal, coconut and nuts. Mix lightly. Cool slightly. 3. Form into 1-inch balls. 4. Roll in additional coconut or nuts, if desired. Chill until firm. |
