Adding melted dark chocolate chips to a store-bought pudding mix is the secret to this decadent shortcut cream pie. Ingredients:
2 cups fat-free milk |
2 (1.3-ounce) packages sugar-free chocolate cook-and-serve pudding mix |
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips |
1 (6-ounce) reduced-fat graham cracker crust |
1 (8-ounce) container frozen fat-free whipped topping, thawed |
Directions:
1. Combine milk and pudding mix in a medium saucepan, stirring well with a whisk. Cook over medium heat 8 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and add chocolate chips, stirring until chocolate melts. Place pan in an ice-water bath for 5 minutes or until cool, stirring often. 2. Pour filling into crust. Cover surface of filling with plastic wrap, and chill at least 3 hours. Spread whipped topping over pie before serving. |
