CHOCOLATE CREAM CANDY This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Boone Estate in Midlothian, Texas in 1992. Ingredients:
2 cups granulated sugar |
2/3 cup milk |
1 tablespoon butter |
2 squares chocolate |
1 teaspoonful vanilla |
Directions:
1. Put butter into granite saucepan then when melted add sugar and milk. 2. Heat to boiling point then add chocolate and stir constantly until chocolate is melted. 3. Boil thirteen minutes then remove from fire and add vanilla and beat until creamy. 4. Pour at once into a buttered pan then cool slightly and mark in squares. |
