Just 4 ingredients and full of flavor Ingredients:
1 pkg devil's ffood cake mix |
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling |
2 large eggs |
1 tsp almond extract |
Directions:
1. Place rack in center of oven and preheat to 350'. Lightly mist a 13x9 baking pan with vegetable oil spray. Set pan aside. 2. Place all ingredients in large mixing bowl and beat with electric mixer on low for 1 min. Stop the machine and scrape down the sides of the bowl with rubber spatula. 3. Increase speed to med. and beat 2 mins more. the batter should look thick and well blended. Pour batter into the prepared pan,smoothing the top with a spatula. Place pan in oven. 4. Bake cake for 30-35 mins. Remove pan from oven and place it on a wire rack to cool. 5. This tastes great with a simple chocolate glaze. |
