Chocolate Covered Butter Crunch Toffee |

This will be great to make for Christmas! Ingredients:
1 lb butter |
2 cups granulated sugar |
1/4 cup water |
2 tbsp white syrup |
frosting |
1 (6 oz bag milk or dark chocolate chips, melted |
1/4 cup finely chopped nuts |
Directions:
1. In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter and sugar. 2. Add water and syrup. 3. Cook over low heat to 300 degrees F (crack stage). 4. Pour into lightly oiled jellyroll pan. 5. Cool. 6. Spread with chocolate frosting , let frosting set and break into pieces. |
