This homemade ice cream dish is so sinful and simple. Winter spring summer and fall this chocolate cookie ice cream is sure to please all!:)) Ingredients:
2 cups heavy cream |
3 egg yolks |
11/2 cups sweetened condensed milk |
4 tsp's real vanilla extract(this makes a huge difference in flavor) |
1 cup coarsely crushed oreos(its about 13) |
Directions:
1. Line a 9 x 5 pan with enough foil to leave overhang(to cover top when done. 2. in mixing bowl whip cream until soft peaks form(chilling metal bowl and beaters before hand makes nicest cream) 3. In another bowl beat egg yolks until thick and pale. 4. Stir in condensed milk and vanilla 5. Fold in the cookies and the cream 6. Pour into loaf pan, cover with overhang 7. Freeze until firm(about 6 hours 8. To serve remove from pan then remove foil |
